MedSafe partners with D.A.R.E. to keep kids safe

Are your prescription medicines truly in a safe place?  I have a teenager in my home as well as little ones which covers the full spectrum of reasons to make sure that any medications we have are kept safe and sound from the curious.

I'm confident mine are now safe and secure since being sent the MedSafe for review a few weeks back.  What is the MedSafe?  It is an easy to use electronic medical lockbox designed to fit in most medicine cabinets, bathroom drawers, or cabinets.  It's purpose is a basic yet important one, to secure your medication.

I installed mine with the screws provided under our bathroom cabinet and couldn't be more pleased with how easy it is to use.  I love the electronic code entry, the last thing I needed was a key to hide too.

In exciting news, MedSafe has just entered a partnership with D.A.R.E. to help keep our children safe from the dangers of prescription and over-the-counter drugs.  As part of the partnership, the MedSafe’s cost, which is normally $59.95, has been reduced to $39.95, for a limited time.  With an estimated 2,500 children ages 12 to 17 taking a prescription painkiller recreationally for the first time each day, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) announces a partnership with MedSafe, the developers of a state-of-the-art medication lock-box, to curb the problem where it most frequently starts – at home.
