My son has been reading the Best-Selling Series Of Books called 39 Clues, however he had no idea that there was now a game to go along with it. Hayden is 11 and he was quite excited when he heard we were being sent the 39 Clues Board Game for review. He's read all the books available in the series thus far and was quite anxious to play a game based on them.
The Game pits teams of players against each other in a race throughout the world. To win, a team must visit four mysterious locations and gather enough clues to unlock the secret chamber. Hayden tells me that this is much like the overall themes of the books he has read.
I think this would be a fun gift for any current 39 Clues fan or give it with the books to a child new to the series. What a great way to add extra motivation to a slightly hesitant reader. And for the record, I've never read the books, but was still able to enjoy game play with my son.
