Talking on the phone while driving, texting while driving, twittering, checking facebook ... don't do it! "Talking on a cell phone while driving is just as dangerous as driving drunk."
I've blogged about the issue of texting while driving before, in fact I keep a button on the sidebar of my site to warn people of it's dangers. Further more, I've personally signed the Mom sends the Msg pledge not to do it myself. Additionally, I've hounded my husband about not doing it and keep pointing out to my 15 year old son that when he begins driving, he needs to put his phone in the glove box to avoid any temptation.
With this in mind, I was thrilled to hear that the talk show legend herself, Oprah Winfrey, was taking on this important issue herself.
