If you are keeping up on the latest in terms of nutrition tips, you are probably well aware that consuming a diet rich in natural antioxidants is highly recommended. And while Mommies love to add all these "good for you" items into their kid's diets, it isn't always quite that easy to add depending on the child.
My daughter in particular is a very hesitant eater and while she gets better at trying new things each year, it is still a struggle. With this in mind, I'm always pleased to find a way to "sneak" in some healthy bites. I've found Pom Wonderful Juice to be a perfect source for adding antioxidants to my children's intake without a battle. According to the company, Pom Wonderful is "bursting with superior levels of naturally occurring antioxidants and backed by $32 million in medical research". Additionally, it has "no added sugar, colorants or cheap filler juices."
A few bottles of juice arrived from Pom Wonderful for us to review and get creative with last week. We put it to good use in various ways. First, I decided to add a couple ounces of it to breakfast time fruit and yogurt smoothies we were making for the kids. I just blended together a bit of frozen fruit, some yogurt, and the Pom Wonderful. The results were deemed as really yummy by all the kids.
Hubby found he loved adding an ounce or two of the Pom Wonderful to his morning orange juice. Another fun way to "sneak" some of this beneficial beverage into your kids is to create a fun fizzy cocktail. We even combined a few ounces of Pom Wonderful with some 7up and topped it with a fresh strawberry for a special mocktail style treat.
Pom Wonderful can also be used in food recipes too. I discovered they had a rather large collection of them on their website that covered everything from appetizers all the way to desserts using Pom Wonderful juice. I may have to try making the yummy looking Chocolate and Pom Wonderful cupcakes with my last bottle. Mmm! Who doesn"t like cupcakes?
