What's a Hugga-Bebe?

Back in August I received an email from an a reader who wrote "I just wanted to say how much I love your blog.  I am just a grandma who has been following your adventured and has purchased a few of the products that you have recommended."

This reader went on to tell me about a product called My Hugga Bebe that has won a lot of awards in the past year or so.  She told me how the Hugga Bebe is particularly handy for twins who are often times born premature thus needing extra help supoorting themselves.  She told that she felt it is priced reasonably too.

Now how could I not request a review of this item after an endorsement like that?  At the very least, I had to find out what on earth this thing was.  Hugga Bebe was nice enough to indeed provide the twins and I with two to test out.

So what is it?  Hugga-Bébé is a patent-pending, innovative product that allows children 4-months to toddler years to experience comfort and security while playing in activity centers, jumpers, walkers, and park bucket swings. Hugga-Bébé's unique wrap-around design literally hugs your baby making those "one size fits all" seats really fit.  Basically, it is a support pillow that takes the place of blankets and other objects a parent might try to prop baby with to sit them up better in all those activity style devices.

The twins were already done with a lot of those items by the time we tested these, but we have been using them in bucket swings when weather allows.  It sure makes them more comfortable and it keeps the twins from sitting all "askew".  They'll easily be able to use them again next summer too.  I only wish I had known about these when my little guys were smaller.  We had many floppy bodied days we could have used these during.

I'd LOVE to show you pictures of the twins using them, but unfortunately the pictures I took didn't turn out.  Instead, you'll have to sneak on over to the MyHuggaBebe.com website for some "in use" shots.  It's just a tad too cold for us to head back outside for a re-shoot.
