Charlie & Lola fans and newbies alike will be happy to hear volume 10 has just released on DVD. I was sent an advanced copy of Charlie & Lola, Vol. 10: I Can't Stop Hiccuping
for my review and my 9 year old daughter instantly DVDnapped it for viewing.Charlie and Lola appears on Playhouse Disney weekend mornings at 5:30c and is based on the popular children’s books by Lauren Child. The new Charlie and Lola DVD boasts nine episodes including the title story, I Can’t Stop Hiccupping, where Lola gets a serious case of the hiccups when she and Lotta practice their song for the school concert. Though she finds her hiccups funny at first, eventually all Lola wants is for them to go away. Everyone tries to help Lola get rid of them, but will her hiccups disappear before the big performance?
My daughter Cordelia's favorite episodes from this DVD include: Our shop sells everything (in which Lola and Lotta sell a bunch of household items including Charlie's swim goggles needed for swim class later that day), Thunder completely does not scare me (in which Lola tries to pretend she is not scared of a thunderstorm), and I really absolutely must have glasses (in which Lola really wants glasses because one of her school friends gets a funky flowery pair).
