A smallfry arrived on my doorstop today from my friends at Build-a-Bear Workshop and on Sept. 3rd build-a-bear smallfrys will arrive in Build-a-Bear Workshop stores and on buildabear.com. This limited Edition collection will include eight mini versions of current and past Build-a-bear favorites.
I had a chance to see the entire smallfry collection on my visit to Build-a-Bear Bearquarters a few months back. I thought they were darling and I was really looking forward to introducing the smallfrys to the kids and see their reactions. It seems they are completely smitten with not only the small animal itself but it's clever packaging just like I was. Each stuffed animal is presented in what we've come to recognize as a french fry box and as if that isnt cute enough each box even has it's own “nutritional friendship information” on back. Although they are small, each build-a-bear smallfrys furry friend has big personality- every serving is sure to increase Build-A-Bear Workshop Guests’ daily smiles.
The concept is one aimed to please a large age group “Tweens like how portable they are and younger Guests love to play Mama and Baby with their regular sized stuffed animals and build-a-bear smallfrys.” The 8 friends will be available through Oct. 31st or until supplies last. They include Sassy Kitty, Read Teddy, Marble Monkey, Endless Hugs Teddy, Shaggy Pup, Peace Bear, Fabulous Frog, and Cinnamon Swirl Bunny. A collection of smallfrys-sized fashions will also be available at Build-A-Bear Workshop and buildabear.com including: Plaid Shirt and Tie Jean set, Hoodie and Jean set, Fuchsia Ruffle Leggings set, Pink Dot Dress, Peace Pajamas, Blue Fairy outfit and more.
