Fuel for School Lunches, Trudeau food & beverage containers

The Fuel line by the Trudeau Corporation is a collection of functional, on-the-go, and BPA free products.  This line contains over 30 different container options designed to contain the "fuel" needed in school lunches and beyond.  Each bottle, bowl, and box provided for our review was easy to use, easy to clean, and environmentally friendly.  The fuel line available in multiple color options was also officially declared cool for school by my 9 and 11 year old kids.


Here's a bit more about the items we tested:

The Everest sandwich box is an essential for kids who bring sandwiches to school.  Not only does it eliminate the waste of baggies but it also protects the sandwich from getting crushed by the weight of everything else your child is lugging.  Plus, the one piece construction means there are no lost lid issues.

The Soup on the go container is microwave safe and a perfect 16 oz. in size.  The kids loved the "secret" screw off lid compartment for stashing snacks.  It's perfect stowing some small crackers or croutons to top off a soup or salad.

Duo Stainless Steel thermal food container has a double wall vacuum design and offers heat retention for up to 5 hours.  Like the soup on the go, this one offers a 2 part lid creating a special compartment for dry snack containment.  This is available in either a 10 oz. and 17 oz. size.

You'll want multiples of the 8 oz. snack containers dubbed the Uno.  They fit all those dry snacks perfectly.  Like the sandwich box the Uno eliminates more baggies and keeps those pretzels and other snacks from becoming a sack of crumbs.  The clip ring allowing it's attachment to virtually anything is another slam dunk with the kid crowd.
 
The hydro hydration bottle is a 16 oz. single wall insulated bottle design made of tritan.  It's a pop up straw style beverage container that comes in green, red, blue or grey.  It's rugged design makes it a great option for after school uses such as flag football practice.
