Fisher-Price Baby Shower Reigns at Brookfield Zoo for Expectant Moms

This Labor Day weekend, expectant mothers preparing for their new bundles of joy are invited to attend a very special baby shower event at Brookfield Zoo on Sunday, September 5. The Mommy Shower, which takes place in the zoo’s Discovery Center, will be offered at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m.

Fisher-Price along with Sherwin-Williams and The Container Store, will offer unique, targeted advice on everything moms-to-be planning their nurseries need to know. The event showcases the new Fisher-Price® Luv U Zoo™ BabyGear and Newborn collections and unveils Sherwin-Williams’ palette of paint colors the company chose specifically to complement the Luv U Zoo line.

Since I'm a mommy of 5 in the Chicago area who happens to be a big fan of all of the above (Brookfield Zoo, Fisher-Price, Sherwin-Williams, & The Container Store) I just had to share this news with my local readers.

The hour-long baby shower experience will offer moms-to-be an opportunity to walk through four themed room layouts, gain storage design tips from The Container Store, color ideas from Sherwin-Williams and organizational advice from Stacey Crew. They will also have the chance to mingle with other expectant moms during this fun, unique celebration.

Moms-to-be will have the chance to win great prizes* and will each receive an exclusive take-home goody bag featuring special offers, a Fisher-Price diaper sample, and a newborn toy. Moms-to-be and one guest will receive entry along with free zoo admission and parking. Space is limited and reservations are highly recommended.

To be part of this unprecedented experience and to receive free admission and parking, pregnant moms can preregister online at www.CZS.org/Events.

The Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo showers are part of a nationwide tour that kicks off at Brookfield Zoo on September 5 with seven additional Luv U Zoo showers scheduled at zoos in Ohio, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida through November 20, 2010.
