A new favorite in this category are the child sized Nathan bottles provided to us from Penguin Brands. They are made with 18/8 (food grade) stainless steel that is chemically inactive, BPA free, durable, and recyclable. The kid sized Nathan bottles hold about 320 ml making them just the right size to fit in lunchboxes.
Their wide mouths make it easy to load them down with ice cubes and scrub them out at the end of the day. And after 2-3 solid weeks of use, we've deemed them to be a leak-proof sturdy design as well as super cute. Another huge plus, they even come with a second straw allowing for eventual wear and tear on that piece.
The cap is great, it allows for easy access to your beverage without the need to unscrew anything. My two year olds have even mastered it. The colors and styles are timely too with Lilac, Lizard, Glow-in-the-dark Firefly, and Lime.
As we've been staying hydrated we have brought our Nathan kid bottles everywhere; on car rides, on walks, to school, to practice, and even over the grandma and grandpa's house while we swam.
