Now on DVD from Nickelodeon

Looking for some new DVD's to add to the family movie night rotation? Check out these four new releases from your friends at Nickelodeon.

Dora the Explorer: Dora's Slumber Party

Last week's release, brings a time to curl up with blankets and teddy bears as Dora and her friends get together for a sleepover in Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Slumber Party, a compilation containing six of Dora’s bedtime adventures.  Join Dora and her friends as they search for their bedtime stuffed animals, wish upon a star, and wake up their friends during this exciting slumber party.  I think this is a great warm up to bedtime.

Go, Diego, Go!: Diego's Ultimate Rescue League
Recently released, Diego and his friends test their rescuing skills as they travel underwater and up tall mountains to save animals in the three new-to-DVD episodes featured on Go, Diego, Go!: Diego’s Ultimate Rescue League.  In these action-packed expeditions around the world, preschoolers can join the Animal Rescue League as they help Diego and his friends undergo a test to earn a World Rescuers’ patch; help Bottlenose become an ocean animal rescuer by saving the ocean animals from a tsunami-like wave and a devastating oil spill; and climb a treacherous mountain to reunite Prince Vicuña with his parents.  The DVD includes the double-length Ultimate Rescue League episode, in addition to two more action-packed Diego episodes.  Diego fans will love this collection.

Max & Ruby:  Everybunny loves Winter!
New on DVD today, September 21st, is this DVD adventure starring Max & Ruby.  Everybunny Loves Winter features four all-new episodes never before released on DVD. In these winter-themed episodes, Max and Ruby play and have fun in the snow, make gingerbread houses, and even play duck, duck, goose.  Despite my pondering as to where Max & Ruby's parents are during all these silly events, my kids have always been huge Max & Ruby fans.  Hmm, do you think that's precisely why?

iCarly: iSpace Out
Now on DVD is this great collection of 6 new-to-DVD iCarly episodes, including the title episode in which Carly records her web show... from outer space.  My daughter Cordelia and I really enjoyed this collection.  She's watch it several times in the car with friends as we make the rounds from school to dance classes and football stuff for her big brothers.

*Much thanks to the folks at Nickelodeon for providing me with both the movies and info to share with my readers.
