Tinker Bell didn't disappoint either, my 9 year old Cordelia LOVED the movie and her twin two year brothers were surprisingly intrigued by the tale as well. One need not have seen previous Tinker Bell releases, be a Peter Pan buff, or even an avid Fairies of Pixie Hollow books fan to enjoy this movie. It stands alone as a wonderful piece.
"Years before meeting Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a little girl with a steadfast belief in the power of pixie dust and the magic land of fairies. During the fairies’ summer visit to the flowering meadows of England, two very different worlds unite for the first time and Tink develops a special bond with a curious child in need of a friend. As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of all fairykind in jeopardy."
Little girls including my own Cordelia and her pals will be roleplaying this storyline for years to come, "I'll be Lizzy and you be Tinker Bell". See for yourself in this sneak peak:
*Much thanks to Walt Disney Home Entertainment for enabling me to earn "Mommy Points" via the DVD they provided me with to facilitate this review. Cordelia says to tell Tink and Lizzy "hi" as well.
