Creativity for Kids Activity Kits (Review & Giveaway)

Over the years, I've found that a safe gift for any of my kid's friends is a craft or activity kit like the ones made by Creativity For Kids.  They make for a great gift because they compile everything a kid needs to do a fun project or two all in one contained box.  A kid can tackle the tasks all in one rainy day or space out the project over a few weeks.  In the end, they have a neat keepsake of some sort that they spent time and effort creating.

My daughter recently helped me review a couple girl themed crafting style activity kits provided by Creativity for Kids.  The timing of their arrival was perfect, she was home sick for a few days with her asthma and desperately needed some non-physical fun.  The two kits she tried were "Diva Puppies" and "Create Your Own Enchanted Storybook".  She really enjoyed doing both.

DIVA PUPPIES:
This kit came with everything you need to paint & style a trio of adorable bobble-head puppies.  There was paint, sequins, flowers, ribbons, heart charm collars, fur, boas and tutus.  Plus, there were 3 soft furry dog beds allowing for some role-playing fun when the puppies were done.  The suggested age range for this kit was 6+.  Cordelia really took her time with this kit and had a lot of fun.  The puppies are now proudly displayed on a shelf in her room

CREATE YOUR OWN ENCHANTED STORYBOOK:
This kit included everything you need to create and decorate your own fairy tale story.  The adorable castle-shaped, hard-cover book comes ready to decorate with markers, glitter stickers, color-in stickers and rhinestones.  Cordelia wrote her own story on the lined pages then used the blank pages for her illustrations.  You can even personalize the story with your name and add your picture to the tower window found on the cover.  The suggested age range on this kit is 5+.  This is the type of kit that can spaced out in steps over several days if one wants.  A day spent on story writing, another day or two on illustration work, and then there are final touches.
