The Original Christmas Classics Blu-Ray DVD Collection

These days it seems like Christmas specials are popping up all over, but few can compete with the iconic special, which first debuted in 1970, the always classic "Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town".  I was born in 1970 myself, so it's been a rich part of Christmas tradition for me since day one.

My mom calls like clockwork when she notices it is airing each year for fear I'll miss it.  I also get a call when “Frosty the Snowman” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” come on as well.  This year we won't have to drop everything when mom calls though.  We are now able these watch these iconic Christmas specials anytime we want thanks to their release on a new Blu-ray gift set.

The Original Christmas Classics box set contains four of the most beloved holiday TV specials of all time, including the Rankin/Bass classics “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Frosty Returns.” It’s the first time any of them are available on Blu-ray.

My favorite is Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Hubby loves Rudolph best, Frosty the Snowman seems to be a winner among the boys, and Cordelia she loves all of them.  What's your favorite?

*Much thanks to Classic Media for providing me with this Blu-Ray set for my review.
