When requested to review a r/c Star Wars vehicle to be provided by Hasbro, I pictured something that would hover about on the floor. Toys certainly have come along way since I was a little kid, this ship can fly.
For the first time ever, the MILLENNIUM FALCON – the most beloved and iconic STAR WARS ship of all-time – is available as an indoor flying remote control vehicle. It's not a tiny flying toy either. It measures in at 11 inches long and 8 inches wide, making it the largest flying STAR WARS remote control vehicle to date.
Designed for the 8+ year old crowd, I put my 12 year old son at the helm of this charging controller. With zero need for instruction, he impressively demonstrated to me the ease of flying the ship all about my office for up to five minutes per charge. Our twin toddler boys are in total delight with each voyage.
Worth noting is the fact that the controller charges the flying vehicle without a need for a wall socket. Additionally, the ship has 3 different channel selections so kids (or adults) can battle with other Star Wars R/C ships. The toy itself is constructed of a lightweight foam to make flight possible, so I'd suggest not trying to grab at it mid flight and safe storage in it's box when not in use.
