Dear Target - A Hat you'll love - From Cordelia

My 9 year old daughter had an assignment a couple weeks ago that I thought was kind of cute.  Each student was told to design a hat and write a letter to a store of their choice.  The intent of the letter was to convince the store to sell their hat design.

Cordelia picked her favorite store, Target.

The letter read:

Dear Target,

My name is Cordelia and I have an amazing hat for you. This is a rare hat. You'll love it very much.

The Primrose hat is a very colorful fun hat. In the center of the hat there is a long black ribbon. The flower on the hat can be any color you wish. In the inside there is a lot of room so you can put stuff in there like Abraham Lincoln. It is a tall hat so it will make you look taller.

I hope you like it. I picked it to sell at your store, Target. Hope this is a good day for you.

From, Cordelia

I was fairly convinced Target would be calling us soon, however I did have a few questions.

How does the flower color thing work, do you just wish for it to be green and it changes?  Is it really big enough to fit Abraham Lincoln inside?  Wouldn't it be wierd to carry things on your head?  Is there a reason you picked short people as your Target audience?
