Dirt Devil Vision Dual Cyclonic-Pet Vacuum Review

It's a very rare day in our bustling household of 7 (8 with the dog) that a "someone bring the vacuum" call doesn't leave my lips.  Let's just look at my new vacuum's contents.  The toddler twins have donated cheerios and cracker crumbs, my daughter Cordelia is the likely previous owner of the sparkling glitter, the dirt could in fact be from anyone but I'd go for the oldest two boys in a pinch, the dog food crumbs are self explanatory, and the construction dust is equally created by hubby & I.

I guess you could say I am a self proclaimed household vacuum enthusiast, though I'd be more enthused if I didn't constantly have to always be vacuuming.  However, I hate leaving a mess for long and it beats the tasks of sweeping or mopping.

Dirt Devil Vision Dual Cyclonic-Pet Vacuum hit the ground running with a mess on the floor the twins created as I unboxed it.  First thing I noticed was it's really long 24’ cord.  I'm in an older house and with that in mind, we lack the luxury of aptly placed and spaced electrical outlets.  Combine that long cord with the generous 12’ of hose reach and your killing the yardage my last vac could cover.  The suction power seems very high too.  It has what Dirt Devil calls a two-stage cyclonic filtration.

And since this model is aimed to help with the furry friends too, it comes with electrostatic tools that pull pet hair up better than a brush, s well as carbon filter to help absorb odors from your furry friends and toddler twins too. Equipped with a six-position carpet height adjustment feature, it did a great job with every surface of my home. With some dust allergy sufferers in the home, the rinseable HEPA filter feature was a welcome one too.

Finally, it's bagless and easy to empty with a price tag of around $99 at Walmart or Walmart.comMuch thanks to Dirt Devil for providing me with this unit for my review.
