I was immediately in love with some of the outward physical features of the T20 machine including it's compact sizing and the trendy looking colored panels you can add to the white or black base units. But, it still had to pass the "excellent cup of coffee" test and to be honest, my husband is the harsher judge on that front.
Our previous brewer was the Keurig and while we loved the concept of the one cup brewers, we often found the Keurig wasn't hot enough (especially if one added a touch of cream). In fact, our family had been known to microwave our cup once creamer has been mixed in. The Tassimo, won us over right away by brewing a hotter single cup in under 60 seconds, no more immediate reheating around our home.
However, it was the Bosch engineered technology behind this Tassimo Brewbot machine that really impressed us. It's capable of brewing seven different varieties of beverage all at their own ideal brewing setting. Great news, you don't need to adjust a thing. The brewer scans a barcode placed on each inserted T disc to help make it each cup. Coffees, teas, hot chocolates, lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, and even iced coffees all are optimally brewed for you.
Beverage brands include Carte Noire, Gevalia Kaffe, Jacobs, Kenco, Maxwell House Café Collection, Mastro Lorenzo, Nabob, Seattle's Best Coffee, Starbucks, Suchard, Tassimo, Tazo, Twinings, & Milka. Mentioned brands provide over 40 varieties for Tassimo owners to sip. These T Discs can be purchased at a wide variety of stores including BedBath&Beyond, Target, and Walmart.
