Childhood Memories of Hot Wheels & Big G Cereals (+ Giveaway)

Cereal and Hot Wheels are both something that go way back in my personal memory banks. I can remember sitting around the breakfast table with my brother Bill (Billy) eating cereal and deciding what we were going to do that day. It wasn't unusual for playing with his Hot Wheels car collection to be on the list. My husband tells me he spent many days playing with his Hot Wheel collection with his brother as well.
I think it's pretty cool that our kids now have cars from both hubby's collection and my brothers collection along with some newer ones they've collected themselves like the ones we recently found in our cereal boxes.  It's also kind of cool that some of those same cereals are on the breakfast table.


You may not have noticed yet, but since January 24th there have been Hot Wheels cars inside each participating cereal box (Cheerios® 14 oz, Cinnamon Toast Crunch® 17 oz, Lucky Charms® 16 oz, Reese’s Puffs® 18 oz, and Cookie Crisp® 15.6 oz). When you open up you fresh box you'll find one of four custom-designed collectable Hot Wheels® pullback racers. Each car contains a code to unlock an exciting online racing game.
