Spring 2011 brings a new release from one of the twins favorites', Moon Dough. Recently Spinmaster's Moon Dough asked the twins and I to review their new Moon Dough Magic Zoo.The new Moon Dough set enables little ones to mold 1 of 3 animals and have them come to life and walk right out of the zoo gate molding device. The set includes 1 Magic Molding Zoo, 2 Winder Walkers, 3 Animal Molds, 1 Fence Mold, & 3 Colors of Moon Dough.
The set comes put together minus attaching a crank and stickers. There is a tiny bit of a learning curve at first as you follow the 3-4 steps but within minutes the twins were laughing as their Moon Dough Zoo Animals walked around the dining room table. The fence mold enables for further play as one can create zoo cages for their creations.We've already put the Moon Dough Zoo to use in upwards of a dozen times in the past few weeks. It's a really cute idea that expands play beyond just making the different things. I'd suggest adding an extra Moon Dough refill if you'll have multiple kids playing.
Of special note, the Moon Dough molding compound is virtually impossible to dry out and is completely wheat free.
