Breaking News: EASTER CANCELED

A couple days ago the twins busted into my closet unearthed the apparently "not so secret" basket supplies and ate their chocolate bunnies. This morning they decided to eat some of the hard boiled decorated eggs without asking. Harmless enough, but they grew impatient with peeling them and put boots on to stomp them open "wine grape" style (all in a matter of 2 minutes of course).

Is anyone else struggling to keep the whole "bunny magic" element alive this Easter?  I'm failing miserably this year and I'm not exactly sure why.  Perhaps I'm getting careless in my old age?  Maybe I've become a bit laissez-faire about the whole thing after doing it for 16 years?  Anyone else found this whole process much harder when you are trying to pull it off for the 4th and 5th child?  It's definitely harder to keep it all mystical and amazing when you have older kids around who might inadvertently spill the "jelly" beans on the whole process.
