Unless you've been living in a cave, you've no doubt heard all about Rebecca Black and her YouTube rise to Insta-fame this March for what many have described as her rather monotoned repetitive tune titled "Friday". Clearly both worked like a charm for her, as the 13 year old's song has received over 101,729,558 hits as of this posting and sparked hundreds if not thousands of spoofs and parodies including one performed by Stephen Colbert on the Jimmy Fallon Show just the other night.

Needless to say, my older kids have played the original video along with several of the parodies enough (honestly it only takes like twice) that the song is now completely stuck in everyone's head.  Even our two year old twins can't stop singing it.  One need only declare it's "Friday" for the whole tune to start whirling around your head similar to the song that never ends.
