Must-Have Items for the Diaper Bag

The weather is getting better in most parts of the country which means outings are on the rise.  However, not being fully packed and ready to go at a moments notice can be a downfall of any planned or impromptu adventure.

Here's my checklist of must have items:

wallet (drivers license, credit cards, membership cards, & cash)
cell phone (& charger) preloaded with emergency contacts

diapers, wipes, diaper pad, & & plastic bags to dispose of dirties
snacks & drinks
camera
a few small toys & books
sunblock, hat, sunglasses & band-aids
extra clothing (such as jackets if the weather turns & socks for those no shoes zones)
