When a box filled with the latest in Oreo treats arrives at your house, a mom has to think fast and hide the goods. After all, it's my duty to sample everything first in order to write a proper review, right? However once trying one of each, it became clear they were too yummy not to share.
Everyone eventually had the chance to try varieties of Oreo Fudge Cremes. It's a thin Oreo cookie wafer, topped with the unmistakable Oreo creme, wrapped in fudge. We sampled them in Golden Oreo and the original flavor, but there is also a Peanut Butter Creme also available. They differ from the other chocolate coated style oreos in that it's only a single layer of cookie with the creme dipper in the chocolaty fudge, not the traditional sandwich style oreo make-up. Ultimately resulting in a thinner treat with less cookie wafer in each bite. Perfect for those who are more about the creme and chocolatey fudge than the wafer.
We also tried the Oreo Creme Filled Brownies. Essentially Oreo has applied the Oreo elements to a brownie. The brownie is split in two layers and filled with the one of a kind Oreo creme, and then topped with a lacy, sweet drizzle. The results are a rich chocolate treat that's hard not to adore. The bar is a pretty substantial in size too, my chocolate craving was satisfied splitting one.
