MasterLock Portable SafeSpace

My oldest son is 17 and as I've mentioned in previous posts, he's a busy guy.  He's a 3 sport athlete that is in his junior year of high school.  Not a day goes by without him heading off to some practice, game, or meet.

The good news is I no longer have to drive him myself to all that stuff.  He has his own car and since he's in high school he takes a team bus to all the away events.

The bad news is, when I can't make the meet;  his stuff ... his wallet, all those electronic gadgets I bought him, his car keys, and etc are all just laying about in a duffle bag or one of those open style gym lockers somewhere.  Sad is it may be, while one kid is out there winning a big conference track event; someone else's kid is stealing the kids phone and cash.  Unfortunate, but I've known it to happen.

However, this year my son has some added protection for his items in the form of a portable MasterLock SafeSpace that is big enough to fit his wallet, his iPhone, his car keys and the $12 his friend asked him to keep safe.

The combination locking unit is about the size of my son's track shoe and easily tucks inside his sports duffle, but also includes a cable that can be locked around something for further protection such as a post, bolted down bench, or locker.  It's perfect for a high school or college level athlete like my son who has to leave all his valuable items alone while he competes.

* Much thanks to MasterLock for providing us with this item for our review.
