We found Splish Splash to be a lot of fun. Players roll the dice and take turns splashing in the pond to get the drops they need. The concept of the game is easy enough for little ones and yet the older kids didn't mind playing along either. General Play utilizes ones Fine Motor Skills, Color Identification, and Matching skills.
We were very impressed by GameWright's GUBS too. GUBS is a whimsical card game for the 10 and older crowd that immediately draws kids in to a set of fantasy characters. The goal is to gather up free and protected GUBS via card play. There is a bit of a learning curve to master the first time or two, but once you get it you'll love it.
