I was a big fan of the Strawberry Shortcake Dolls and show when I was little. I can sign the songs and name way too many of the original characters. My daughter fell in love with Strawberry too. She even had a it as a birthday theme one year. So I just had to share the latest news from Berry Bitty City.
On Saturday, November 19, a major addition to the magical world of Strawberry Shortcake – the awesome Cherry Jam – will make her worldwide debut on “Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures,” which airs at 9 am on The Hub.
Cherry Jam is a mega singing star with tons of adoring fans, yet dreams of a home where she will be appreciated for who she is offstage. Little does Cherry Jam know that her dream is about to come true in a special place called Berry Bitty City. There, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Torte, Plum Pudding, Orange Blossom, and Lemon Meringue will prove that Cherry Jam has much more to offer than just her superstar status.
The half-hour animated series “Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures” returned for its second season on Saturday, November 5. The CGI animated series features Strawberry Shortcake and her friends in Berry Bitty City where there is no challenge too big for this high-spirited resourceful bunch. Not only will Cherry Jam mark her grand entry into the new season, the premiere of her new music video “Anything is Possible” will also debut on The Hub on November 19th.
