Back to Normal?

We survived the car ride back home to Illinois from Colorado.  A huge shout out to in the car DVD players, crayons, coloring books, and electronic devices like the iPad and Kindle Fire for making it fairly painless for everyone.  Fruit snacks and cheddar crackers should also get an honorable mention.



We took the Kansas route home to make it possible to squeeze in another college drive by for our oldest.  As I've previously mentioned, he's hoping to run track in college and has been getting some letters of interest here and there.  We've been doing our best to work in seeing some of these locations when possible.

Once we arrived home I was on a mission to get the laundry caught up, house stocked up with food, and house totally organized for the start of the new year.  I was doing pretty good on all that until I did something to my right wrist.  And while the house is fairly organized, I'm going to be playing some catch up around the blog as I'm just now confortable enough to type with it again.  It's always something, right?

I think 2012 is the year I just admit that crazy, chaotic, and always playing "catch up" is back to normal for us.
