Disney Channel's "Perry the Platy-bus On Tour" now at Chicago's Navy Pier

Perry the Platy-bus Tour Chicago Stop 2012

If you or your kids are Phineas and Ferb fans, you likely know that earlier this summer, Perry (their pet platypus) went missing in the two part television special "Where's Perry?" And on Friday, August 24 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT), Agent P's fate will be revealed in the suspense-filled finale of the two-part "Phineas and Ferb" special "Where's Perry?" on Disney Channel.

In the meantime, the search for Perry continues with Disney's cross-country Perry the Platy-bus tour.   Along the way, fans can join the mission to bring Perry back home and, via Augmented Reality, can virtually interact with Phineas, Ferb and other characters.  The tour will travel to state fairs and tourist destinations across the country this summer.

And I have a tip for all of you local readers, Perry's Platy-Bus is currently stopped right here at Chicago's own Navy Pier.  In fact, I was just on the Platy-bus (for a media preview) with some of my kids this morning. We had the opportunity to meet Dan Povenmire (creator/executive producer & "Dr. Doofenshmirtz"), Jeff "Swampy" Marsh (creator/executive producer & "Major Monogram"), Vincent Martella ("Phineas"), Alyson Stoner ("Isabella") and Perry the Platypus himself.  We danced along to Radio Disney tunes, solved some clues on the bus, and much more.  And while hanging out with Perry and his gang, I happened to learn that it will be in Chicago through Friday.

Exact Hours:
Wednesday, August 8: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Thursday, August 9: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Friday, August 10: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

For those of you not in the area, you can go online at www.DisneyChannel.com, to access an interactive map that geographically tracks the Platy-bus.  Maybe it'll be stopping in your area next?  The site also allows you to upload your own "Perry Sightings" as he appears in various locales throughout the nation.

And of you have plans to be in Orlando soon, you can also join in on an interactive experience to assist Danville's secret agent in defeating Dr. Doofenshmirtz in the newly launched "Agent P's World Showcase Adventure" at Walt Disney World.

Disclosure:  Much thanks to the folks at Disney for allowing us to attend this preview and providing my kids with some fun Phineas and Ferb related items.  Parking expenses were also provided.
